Lotion pumps come in a variety of materials, and different materials have different characteristics. Common lotion pump material types are mainly the following:

Plastic material
PP (polypropylene): PP lotion pumps have good chemical stability, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and relatively low cost. It is light and easy to use, for example, it is widely used in lotion pumps for some ordinary daily chemical cleaning products. PP lotion pumps feel light and are not easy to damage. They are suitable for large-scale production and can meet the daily use needs of general consumers.

PET (polyester): PET material is often used in the manufacture of lotion pump shells. This material has good transparency, allowing consumers to intuitively see the remaining amount of lotion in the bottle. At the same time, PET material has certain strength and toughness, is not easy to break, and can better protect the internal pump core structure. In some mid-to-high-end cosmetic lotion pumps, PET material shells can enhance the overall appearance and texture of the product.

Metal material
Stainless steel: Stainless steel lotion pumps are usually used for the pump core part. Stainless steel has strong wear resistance and is not easy to rust, which can ensure the stability and reliability of lotion pumps during long-term use. In some lotion pumps that require high-precision liquid dosing, stainless steel pump cores can more accurately control the amount of lotion discharged, ensuring that the dosage used each time is accurate. For example, in the packaging of some high-end skin care products or medical lotion products, lotion pumps with stainless steel pump cores can better meet the quality requirements of the products.

Die-cast aluminum: Die-cast aluminum is also one of the metal materials that can be used for lotion pump cores. It has good thermal conductivity and mechanical properties, can withstand a certain amount of pressure, and can achieve a more complex shape design in the manufacturing process to meet the structural requirements of different types of lotion pumps.

Other materials
Engineering plastics: Engineering plastics are a type of plastic with good comprehensive performance. Compared with ordinary plastics, it performs better in strength, heat resistance, and cold resistance. When used in lotion pumps, it can improve the overall performance of lotion pumps, especially for lotion products used in some special environments, such as not easy to deform or damage in high or low temperature environments, ensuring the normal operation of lotion pumps.

Ceramics: Ceramic lotion pumps are relatively rare, but have unique advantages. Ceramics have excellent chemical stability and almost do not react with any chemical substances, which can well ensure the purity of the lotion. Moreover, the ceramic lotion pump has an exquisite appearance and a high texture. It is suitable for packaging some high-end lotion products with natural ingredients, giving people a sense of high quality and environmental protection.
