Lotion pump heads are mainly used for materials with good fluidity such as water, milk, shampoo, and shower gel. According to the characteristics of the material body and the use effect to be achieved, slightly thicker materials such as conditioner can also be used as pump heads. However, if the pump head is not suitable for thick materials, it will cause the pump to be unable to discharge or the pumping process to be interrupted.

For thicker materials, it is necessary to test the filling material for the pump before determining the purpose of the pump head. When using the pump head to pump liquid oil products, although not all materials leak, the probability of leakage of individual materials is very high.

For lotion pump heads, foam pump heads pump out foam, do not need to be soaked in water and rubbed, use less, and are easy to use. The material in the foam pump head must be liquid, and the material must be very thin, not very thick, otherwise it will block the net and the material cannot be pressed out. Bottles with foam pump heads can only hold liquids and not lotions, and the fine net inside the pump head cannot be missing, otherwise the foam cannot be pressed out.

Lotion pump head sealing
If the pump head is not well sealed, such as leaking, it usually leaks in three places, namely the thread, pump core and pump nozzle. By changing the thickness of the gasket on the pump head cover, the problem of water leakage at the thread can be basically solved. Water leakage at the pump core and pump nozzle is caused by the structure or manufacturing problems of the pump head itself.

Lotion pump head injection time
In layman's terms, the number of pumping times of the lotion pump head is the number of times the pump head is pressed with the larger stroke of the pump head to discharge the material. If the pump head is pressed down many times without being discharged, or is pressed down many times before being discharged, such a pump head is unqualified.

When testing the number of blow-outs, after tightening the pump head, loosen the pump head pressure head or remove the pump head clamp, etc. so that the pump head can be pressed. When the pump head pressure head can no longer be pressed down, let go until the pump head pressure head bounces up completely. This is a complete pump pressing process. Keep pressing the pump repeatedly until the pump starts to discharge, and count the number of times the pump head is pressed.

Usually, the number of spraying times for water-based products does not exceed 5 times. Other slightly thicker products do not exceed 10 times. Generally, the pump head is tested 2-3 times.

Pump displacement
According to the characteristics of the product used, select a pump head with appropriate pump output. For example, shampoo, shower gel, etc. For one-time large-scale use, a pump head with large pumping capacity should be selected. For products such as water emulsions, a pump head with slightly smaller pump output should be selected. The pump output of the pump head should be stable. The deviation of the pump output is determined according to the use needs and the characteristics of the pump head.

When testing the pump output of the lotion pump head, fill the bottle with the actual filling amount. After tightening the pump head, loosen the pump head pressure head or remove the pump head clamp, etc. So that the pump head can be pressed. Press the pump head repeatedly with appropriate force until the pump head pumps out, and then press repeatedly until the pump head is discharged smoothly. Put the bottle with the pump head on the electronic scale, weigh and peel, then press the pump head pressure head to a larger stroke with appropriate force, and then weigh it on the electronic scale. The reduction is the one-time pump output.

Repeat the measurement of three pump outputs, press the pump head 10 times regardless of the weight, and measure the three pump outputs continuously according to the previous method. Press the pump head 10 times regardless of the weight, and measure the four pump outputs continuously according to the previous method, and calculate the average of the 10 pump outputs. According to the above method, four pump heads are measured at the same time, and the average of the pump output is taken as the actual pump output of the pump head.

Matching of lotion pump head and bottle
The pump head bottle adopts threaded matching packaging material. When rotating the pump head, the pump head cover and the bottle should rotate smoothly, and no idling, tooth loss or slipping should be allowed. When the pump head is tightened, the pump head should not be skewed or loose, and the distance between the lower end of the pump head cover and the bottle shoulder should not be too large, generally less than 1 mm, which is more beautiful. The exact foot lift size should be determined according to the actual situation of the product. The pump head with an outer cover should be properly tightened after the outer cover is covered.
